Our condition surveys give clients a technical understanding of a roof before decisions are made about repair, refurbishment, replacement, acquisition or future maintenance.
We assess the waterproofing, drainage, detailing, upstands, outlets, penetrations, previous repairs, visible deterioration and areas of potential risk. Where appropriate, we can also include drone imagery, moisture mapping, core samples and targeted testing.
The value is not only in identifying defects, but in interpreting what those defects mean. We help clients understand whether the roof is suitable for localised repair, further investigation, planned maintenance or more substantial refurbishment.
This is particularly useful when preparing budgets, shaping tender scopes, reviewing roof assets or challenging the assumption that full replacement is required.
Our reports can be relied upon to ascertain if a roof is sound and has another 20 years in it or if it needs a full/partial replacement or just a repair.
